THE LAW ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA DISCLOSURE TEXT

The protection of your personal data is among the most important priorities of Proşarj Şarj Hizmetleri Anonim Şirketi (“Company” or “Proşarj“), which acts as the data controller in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law”).

In line with this Clarification Text, it is aimed to provide the necessary transparency in accordance with the Law by enlightening you about the personal data processed by our Company, including the Proşarj website or Proşarj mobile application.

1. PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA AND LEGAL REASON

During your use of the products and services offered by our Company, your personal data, which are described in detail below, are processed in accordance with the basic principles in Article 4 of the Law.

2. PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IN ACCORDANCE WITH YOUR EXPLICIT CONSENT

2.1 Marketing Activities

Within the scope of the Law, in order to process personal data for certain purposes, the explicit consent of the data subject must be obtained. Our Company, acting in line with the personal data processing conditions in the Law, may process your personal data for the following personal data processing purposes only if you have given your consent,

• Customizing our services according to your tastes, usage habits, and needs and recommending them to you; carrying out analysis, segmentation, or targeting studies; the presentation of special product or service offers, new product announcements, campaigns, promotions, and other marketing activities to you; It can be processed for the purposes of conducting surveys and customer satisfaction measurement studies and communicating with you electronically in this context and can be shared with the third-party suppliers that we receive services for the purposes.

2.2 Processing of Location Data

If you consent to the processing of your location data through the Proşarj Mobile Application, your instant location information is processed so that you can see the nearest electric vehicle charging station from the map to be opened. The location is not recorded and tracked in any system. Snapshots are only shown based on your location.

You have the opportunity to remove the Proşarj Mobile Application from your location services at any time you want. The relevant action can be taken from the section on your phone’s access to location services in the application settings.

2.3 Mobile App Notifications

If you consent to notifications via the Proşarj Mobile Application, you will start to receive notifications through your device where the Proşarj Mobile Application is installed in order to receive notifications about charging transactions, account status, payment status, developments about the Proşarj station network and current campaigns. You have the opportunity to turn off receiving notifications at any time. The relevant action can be performed from the section on notifications in the application settings of your phone.

 

3. METHOD OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION AND LEGAL REASON

Your personal data is obtained through Proşarj Mobile Application, Call Center, WhatsApp, ChatBot, E-mail and Social Media in line with the legal reasons stated above within the scope of fulfilling the purposes listed under the first heading of this Clarification Text.

 

4. PARTIES TO WHOM YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS TRANSFERRED

Your personal data may be transferred to the following persons for the purposes specified in accordance with the conditions specified in the article on the transfer of personal data of the Law.

• To know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred at home or abroad,
• If your personal data is processed incompletely or incorrectly, request their correction,
• Requesting the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in the Law,
• Requesting that the third parties to whom the personal data are transferred are notified that your incomplete or incorrectly processed personal data has been corrected,
• Requesting that the deletion or destruction of your personal data be notified to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
• To object to the occurrence of a result against you by analyzing your processed data exclusively by means of automated systems,
• To request compensation for the damage if you suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.
