TMMOB Chamber of Electrical Engineers outlined the three levels of electric vehicle charging.
Seviye 1
At Level 1, vehicles can be charged by plugging in. Level 1 charging is also known as slow charging, and single-phase systems are used as an energy source.
Seviye 2
Level 2 charging is generally defined as the primary method for charging the EV battery for private and public establishments and requires a 240V-400V outlet. Level 2 charging provides sufficient power and is applicable in most environments.
Seviye 3 veya DC Hızlı Şarj
Level 3 and DC charging are fast charging. It is designed for commercial charging station and public space applications. DC charging is used to supply a DC source obtained by rectification from the AC mains.
